Our Founder

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our esteemed elder, founder and honorary Chairman, Fahrettin Ulusoy, who set an example for all of us with his philanthropy, patriotism, philanthropy, honesty and hard work.

1949 - ∞

Fahrettin Ulusoy was born on March 13, 1949 in Sınamataş Village (Başköy) in Tekkeköy district. His family migrated to Tekkeköy center in May 1950 and started small-scale business. He graduated from Tekkeköy Primary School in 1960. When he was a senior student at Namık Kemal Secondary School, he ended his education and started working at his family's workplace, out of necessity to support his family. However, in the following years, he completed his external final exams and became a secondary school graduate.

On February 25, 1969, as a taxpayer in his own name opened his first workplace. Trade in food and necessities Served in the Black Sea Region.

In 1989, he founded Ulusoy Un, which today has become Turkey's largest flour producer and exporter. Turkey's first listed flour producer, Ulusoy Un has been recognized as one of the “Turkey's 500 Industrial Giants” and “Turkey's 500 Largest Export Companies”.

Fahrettin Ulusoy served as the President of Samsun Businessmen Association (SAMSİAD) in 1992, and as the President of Trade and Commerce Association in 1993. Industry Chamber Assembly Presidency, Samsunspor Vice President, Black Sea Cereals between 2008-2014 He served as the Chairman of the Pulses Exporters Association. He continued his presidency.

Fahrettin Ulusoy, who has provided important services to his country in economy, sports, politics, education and many other fields, was included in the "50 Most Effective Businessmen of Anatolia" list; It has proven to all of us that dreams can be turned into reality with faith and determination.

In his book "Lines from My Life", which he wrote in memory of the 50th anniversary of Ulusoy Un's establishment, he wrote about his life experiences and the journey of a small grain shop he opened in 1969 to becoming a food company exporting to all over the world.


Fahrettin Ulusoy Primary School

Fahrettin Ulusoy, who set it as his mission to support education, not only provided scholarship opportunities to university students, but also built a primary school with 24 classrooms in the Atakum district of Samsun. Fahrettin Ulusoy Primary School started providing primary education in 2010. In interviews with him, he has always emphasized the importance he attaches to education, saying, "The best service I have done in my life is my investment in education."
